The North Alabama Zoological Society loved spending the morning at Athens Intermediate School talking with 4th graders and fulfilling our Education Mission. They are using an adaption of our trade study to create their own zoos in a combined Math/Science Unit. The students were able to meet Twickenham, our ambassador sulcata tortoise. Special thanks to Donna Schexnayder and the 4th grade teachers at Athens Intermediate.
